Help Needed for Route 66 Online Project

  From Evelyn Homan, Director

Libraries along the Route 66 corridor are planning a project to develop a web site containing Route 66 memorabilia for public use.  To see if this is a viable project, we are asking the public’s help.   We would appreciate information on any pictures, postcards, letters, etc. that you may have about the highway or businesses along the highway.  At this time we don’t actually need the items, but just to get a feel about what is available.

If you have anything that you would be willing to share, please call the library and let us know.  We really appreciate your help with this project.  Call the Lexington Public Library at 309-365-7801 during regular library hours.
